New Horizons
18 02 2008Okay, it’s been forever since my last post, and I’m sorry. So here’s a really quick recap of what’s happened since I’ve moved to San Francisco.
I arrived safe and sound at San Francisco International Airport at 8:00AM on February 8th, which was 25 minutes before my flight took off from Saipan. That night, Farah and I had an intimate dinner at Bushi-tei, a really interesting restaurant that fuses French cuisine with Japanese. I would have died a happy man if I was killed after I took my first bite of the tuna tartar. Wish I had a picture, but I didn’t realize Farah had brought her camera until we got to desert.
The following evening was Farah’s birthday, and we had dinner with some friends at Canto de Brazil. The carnivale dancers were a great treat, and the food was deicious. It was also the first time I got to see my brother since I last saw him in Saipan last summer. Afterwards, we all drove down to Foster City to attend Josh’s “Anti-Valentine’s Day” house party. I have to admit, it was one of the best house parties I have ever been to. It was a new experience for me to hang out with my kid brother like that. I guess we all grow up eventually.
